I help elite teen athletes gain a mental edge and build the resilience needed to perform and thrive at the collegiate level.

In this program, I help your athlete transform into the college athlete they want to be by learning about the Mental Edge Formula, which helps them:

  1. Improve their performance by building mental toughness and gaining the mental edge over others;

  2. Be “recruitable” by becoming the type of athlete the college coaches want to invest in;

  3. Learn valuable life skills that will serve them throughout their life not just in sport.

The Mental Edge Maximizer Program


This program is a hybrid design that allows your athlete to learn the Mental Edge Formula through instructional video lessons and activities (delivered through a free app)at their own pace and receive support through weekly coaching.

With the Mental Edge Formula athletes learn how to:

Develop Self-Awareness

Develop the ability to tune into and be mindful of their thoughts, emotions and physiological responses and understand these affect their ability to perform at their best. They will also learn the importance of optimism and having a growth mindset.

Sharpen Your Focus

Hone the tools and tips for staying motivated and focused while pursuing goals. Build the ability to “lock in” their focus during performance focusing on the right things at the right time. Use Mindfulness techniques to build your concentration muscles.

Build Winning Confidence

Learn the different sources of confidence and how to leverage them to become confident in themselves, their game and their process. Athletes will learn the common beliefs and errors in thinking that erode confidence and develop personal hacks to enhance their confidence and courage to handle any high pressure moment.

Overcome Your Nerves

Harness your physiological responses (nerves) in order to stay calm and composed under pressure. Learn how to prime your energy to match the demands of your performance and to rethink the stress response.

Build Your Resilience

Maintain optimism, bounce back from adversity and thrive in any situation. Failure is a very common experience in sport and in life. If your athlete doesn’t build their capacity to handle, learn from and grow from failure it will be very difficult to excel in life. This section focuses on helping athletes put sport in perspective, normalize failure and give them specific tools to bounce back quickly.

Perform at your Best

In this step athletes learn how to put all the skills they’ve learned into a personal performance plan that will set conditions for success. This helps them take control of the mental and emotional side of performance and gain a mental edge on the competition.



Put the techniques you learn into practice during group coaching sessions. This is a safe place where everyone is working on their own Mental Edge journey.

Before each group session, be prepared to discuss the challenges you are having with your sport, school or life and/or be ready to ask questions about any of the content you have watched.  Most athletes find it powerful to learn that others are having similar struggles and hear the creative ways they are showing up for themselves and creating solutions.
